Many funeral homes today are locally operated, but few are both locally owned and operated. Rick Elliott, one of the four owners of Love Funeral Home is on site every day. What that means to you is that, as an owner, Rick will make sure that the decisions made regarding everything from prices to special requests are considered with an understanding that only comes from living and working in Burlington and the surrounding communities.
Where ever you live on the eastern plains, you are not far from a Love Funeral Home. With locations in Limon, Burlington, Cheyenne Wells, and now in Strasburg we hope you will find comfort in knowing that our caring staff is nearby and available at your time of need.
The funeral directors at the four Love Funeral Homes are highly trained professionals with more than eighty years of combined funeral experience. Certified by the Colorado Funeral Service Board you can be assured that they are qualified to care for you and your family at a time of loss.
The family of every honorably discharged U.S. Veteran served at Love Funeral Home will receive a free flag case to proudly display his/her flag. This high quality flag case is made of hardwood and manufactured right here in the United States. It is a small token of our appreciation for our freedom and every veteran's honorable service.
Love Funeral is proud to offer funeral services at no charge to any first responder killed in the line of duty. Whether a member of law enforcement, fire and rescue or an EMT, his/her family will be spared the added burden of having to pay for funeral service expenses. Having conducted numerous funeral services for first responders in the past, our staff is familiar with the various department protocols to honor and acknowledge their ultimate sacrifice.
The loss of a child is something no family should ever have to face. Unfortunately, some do. When a child passes, whether prenatal, infant, toddler or any child up to age 12 - from any cause, the services of Love Funeral Home will be provided at no cost to the family.
We separate "pre-planning" from "pre-paying" and encourage everyone to pre-plan their final arrangements whether they want to pre-pay for them or not. Pre-planning is a free service offered at Love Funeral Home and will ensure that your family knows what you want -and don't want. Without a plan, families are left to make many important decisions at an already stressful time. While pre-paying is not a requirement, many seem to want the added peace of mind that comes from knowing that everything is planned and paid for. When you pre-pay for your final arrangements at Love Funeral Home, the price for the services and merchandise are locked-in and guaranteed never to increase, regardless of when the services are needed. In the past families have had to pay for this advantage, but now can do so at no extra charge. We also offer monthly payment plans.
